Jacquelyn Chi

Director of Community Engagement

Jacquelyn Chi is the Director of Community Engagement at ReFED, where she is responsible for building and engaging ReFED’s growing community through the annual Food Waste Solutions Summit and Food Waste Action Network. She brings 15 years of experience in thought leadership and food education programming, community engagement, and events across corporate and non-profit organizations including The Charlie Cart Project, OpenTable, and The Culinary Institute of America. Jacquelyn earned her bachelor’s degree in Radio-Television-Film from Northwestern University, and her master’s degree in International Communication from American University, where she researched food as a tool of public diplomacy, and the social construction of authenticity in foreign eating.
